2006 World Scramble Championship

Following the curtailment of the Buick Scramble, The InVicta Club continued the tradition of a nation-wide amateur team scramble event with the creation of the World Scramble.  Over sixty local and regional qualifiers were held across North America, and 180 finalists converged on Beverly Hills and Pete Dye/Freddy Couples Lost Canyons Golf Club to determine the World Scramble 2006 Champions.  Through the canyons and elevations of Lost Canyons Golf Club, teams showed keen competitive spirits and skills over the two days of competition.

There were skill games each morning (putting and chipping), a little wagering on the side, marvelous tee prizes, great service and food from the staff of Coyote Hill, and spirited banquets and happy hours re-living the shots that went in and those that went errant.  Thanks to great sponsors like BodogLife, Monster Energy Drinks, and many others, the first World Scramble Competition was a huge success. 

The Finals Reception at the Playboy Mansion was a grand way to end the event.  Our charities were very successful, and the saying, "What happens at the Playboy Mansion stays at the Playboy Mansion" was definitely the rule.
